Reinforcing community mobilization and support of female lead entrepreneurship in the agroecology sector
ABOUT
THE PROJECT
Predominantly rural areas make up half of Europe and represent around 20% of the population. However, most of the rural areas are also among the least favored regions.
The idea of Agro4SDGs arises from the realization of the importance of women in strengthening the wealth of rural communities. It is an innovative and relevant project, which implementation will contribute to the long-term vision for the EU’s rural areas and to the EU Green Deal strategy.
Through its actions and results, Agro4SDGs also reinforces EU’s commitment to gender mainstreaming in farming and agriculture, empowering women interested in these fields and preventing a further gender gap in the generations to come.
Agro4SDGs reinforce European Union’s commitment to gender mainstreaming in farming and agriculture, empowering young women interested in these fields and preventing a further gender gap in the generations to come.
